Volunteer helpers needed!!

We could do with some new faces on the fundraising committee –
and new ideas for events, maybe from the outlying villages and communities????
What about from the younger SpArC members- the sports communities – the gym users?

Can anyone help with the community Apple Pressing Day this year 21st October at the Public Hall? We could do with someone to help run the plant stall and man the pasteurising boiler. If you can help, contact Kate Evans 01588 638762, mble 07815 421698, katetheplate@gmail.com

As you can see from our 2017 events page, we have already created some great fundraising activities and we are keen to make at least some of them into regular annual events that will become a lasting part of the rich social culture of our wonderful community,

But what we really need are volunteers who can give time and hopefully  expertise to create yet more inspirational events.  So can you help? Would you like support and help to set up and run your own event? Anything from a small coffee morning, a gardening quiz, a sponsored childrens’ event, a regional potato tasting competition or even a full-blown event like the Colour Run or the Tandem Triathlon?
We particularly need help with social media and IT on this website or on our Facebook page, so if you have IT expertise or ideas, we’d love to hear from you!
If you have some spare time or good ideas, please contact the fundraising committee  through our contact page on this site and let us have your details. (we do not share this information with anyone else)or email  katetheplate@gmail.com
We are in the process of creating an online donation facility on this site but if you would like to donate to the campaign in the meantime please take or send cheques or cash to the front desk at SpArC, Brampton Bryant Rd, Bishops Castle or to Enterprise House, Station St, Bishops Castle.
